What you need to know

We collect and process personal data about you when you visit our website, shop in our webshop, sign up for our newsletter, participate in a competition, or visit our showroom. We process your information responsibly and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Data controller

Just Add People ApS is the data controller for the processing of the personal data we receive about you.

What information we collect and why

Visitors to our website

When you visit justaddpeople.dk or use our online services – including our presence on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Pinterest – we may process information about your IP address, device, and browser, as well as information about your behavior on the site: how you find our website, which pages you visit, what you search for, and which ads you have seen. This information is collected via cookies, log files, and similar technologies. We use it to improve the website and show you relevant content. Customers in the webshop

When you shop with us, we process information about your name, email address, company address, your purchases and payment details, as well as other information you provide. We use the information to fulfill the agreement with you, deliver goods, invoice, and provide customer service. The basis is the agreement with you (GDPR article 6(1)(b)) or our legitimate interest in managing the customer relationship (GDPR article 6(1)(f)). Customer information is stored for up to 5 years from the end of the relevant financial year in accordance with the bookkeeping law.

Recipients of newsletter and marketing

When you receive marketing from us, we process information about your name, email address, phone number, position, and product interest. We also process information about your use of our marketing—for example, whether you open our emails and which links you click on. We only send marketing to you when we have your consent. We may upload your email address to advertising tools such as Google or Meta for targeted marketing. The basis is our legitimate interest (GDPR article 6(1)(f)). We store your information until you unsubscribe or your consent expires. Documentation of consent is stored for up to two years after the last use.

Competition participants

When you participate in a competition via our newsletter, we process information about your name, email address, phone number, and your responses. We use this information to manage the competition and contact winners. The basis is our legitimate interest (GDPR article 6(1)(f)). Information about non-winners is deleted no later than 30 days after the winner is drawn. Information about winners may be stored longer, depending on the claim period for the prize. If the information is part of transactions, it is stored for 5 years from the end of the relevant financial year.

Visitors in our showroom

When you visit our showroom at Mariendalsvej 32 in Viborg, we may process information about your name and company name as well as recordings from video surveillance. Video surveillance is carried out for security reasons and to prevent crime. We inform about the surveillance in accordance with the video surveillance law § 3, section 1. Recordings are stored securely and accessed only in case of security breaches. The basis is our legitimate interest (GDPR article 6(1)(f)). Recordings are automatically overwritten and stored for a maximum of 30 days.

Partners and suppliers

When you are a partner, supplier, or contact person at one of our partners, we process information such as name, company address, phone number, email address, and title. We use this information for contract management and to receive goods and services. The basis is the agreement with you (GDPR article 6(1)(b)) or our legitimate interest (GDPR article 6(1)(f)). Information is stored as long as the cooperation lasts and thereafter for 5 years from the end of the relevant financial year according to the bookkeeping law.

Sharing your information

We share your personal data with third parties when necessary for our business operations – for example, payment services, shipping companies, and advisors. We limit sharing to what is necessary. We may also share information with public authorities if legally required. Our data processors only process your information on our behalf and according to our instructions.

Transfer to countries outside the EU/EEA

In some cases, your information may be transferred to countries outside the EU/EEA. Transfers are made either to countries the EU Commission has approved as safe or based on the EU Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC), which ensure an adequate level of protection. We protect your personal data with appropriate technical and organizational security measures. Information is deleted securely when no longer needed. We conduct regular internal reviews to ensure our policies are followed.

In certain cases, you can receive your information in a machine-readable format and have it transferred to another data controller.

You can file a complaint with the Data Protection Agency at datatilsynet.dk.

Withdrawal of consent

You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at legal@justaddpeople.dk. This does not affect the legality of the processing that took place before the withdrawal.

Update of the privacy policy

We continuously update this policy to ensure it is accurate and complies with applicable law. New versions are published on our website.
